belt tutorial yesterday? It's just the kind of thing I've been meaning to post about for ages! Just a quick tip from me on the topic today: kits to cover your own buckle can be hard to find, and I know a lot of sewists resort to buying vintage kits when they can. But I recently found a company that manufactures these kits and sells them online! The company is Maxant, and they have buckles in a wide array of shapes and sizes. I love the circle and oval shapes, and they've got your basic rectangle and square buckles too. You can also buy their kits (in quantities of 3) on Create for Less.
I figure if all we vintage-loving ladies support them, Maxant will hopefully stay in business for many years to come. Go forth and make belts!
