The class is called Sewing Plus and it's a good fit for anyone with (at least) solid basic sewing skills. Everyone can decide on their own projects and determine their goals for the class (like learn bound buttonholes or perfect the fit of a pattern) and I'll be there to provide demos, guidance, moral support, and maybe even chocolate. The space is beautiful and fully equipped.
There are still spots in these two classes:
- Tuesdays, 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Starts July 19th.
- Sundays, 3:00 to 5:00 pm. Starts July 24th.
If you're interested, please e-mail me at gertie@blogforbettersewing.com. I hope you'll join me!
P.S. I also teach private lessons, which are great for all levels and can be scheduled at your convenience.
Oh - I would so absolutely LOVE to if I didn't live across the Big Sea ;)
ReplyDeleteIt looks like a beautiful place - I adore the pink chairs
I'm with DaneMum! I would totally be signing up if not for the slight issue of living in the far southeast U.S.! :'(
ReplyDeleteDitto. I'm in Texas
ReplyDeleteDitto for me, too, unfortunately. I'd love to take a class with you.
ReplyDeleteUnlike the other ladies I live in New Jersey I moved here from Texas. I do not like taking that journey into the city but I may have to break down and do it because learning from you would be awesome
ReplyDeleteI live in the middle of nowhere in Oregon. :( too bad
ReplyDeleteOooh I want to! I could make it to class easilyy except I'm pretty broke... though I know what I'm telling BF to get me for my birthday/anniversary/next-gifting-holiday!
ReplyDeleteHave you ever considered a vacation in Norway? I would love to have some private lessons.:)
ReplyDeleteToo bad you're not teaching at The Sewing Studio in Toronto. Maybe Denise would consider bringing you here for a course?
ReplyDeleteGlad you got into teaching. I do sewing lessons in Houston, and it is so much fun to work with and teach so many creative people your techniques! Good luck!
ReplyDeleteDarn! I wish I lived close enough to attend one of your classes!
ReplyDeleteI'm not across the sea or even the country, but a 4 hour ride for a class does seem kind of excessive. Doesn't it?
What kind of sewing machines are they?
ReplyDeleteSolange, they're Janome Sewist 500s.
