It's a Marc Jacobs Giveaway!


Denise of The Blue Gardenia, aka The Woman Who Organizes the Best Giveaways Ever, has provided a little celebration in honor of Marc Jacobs's birthday. Side note: did you know he just turned 47? Looking good!

Here's what's up for giveaway. First, a rare Vogue Marc Jacobs skirt pattern. There are three variations, and it's a size 16-18. Clean, classic, lovely!

Second, a tube of MAC pro Longwear Lipcreme in Prolong, a classic red. (I had no idea there was a MAC red lipstick that I didn't own yet. This must be rectified.)

Third, a bottle of Zoya Dovima, a metallic smokey gray nail polish. I saw some similar shades in a magazine recently, and they looked amazing. Plus, it's named after the fabulous 50s model who was a favorite of Dior.


The overall combo? Fierce! I think Marc would approve.

    There is never a bad time to get a great skirt pattern. Also, that nail polish is killer. I've been hunting a flat gray for me for awhile but I just love shiny things too much. That shade is perfect. And if you pick me to win, I'll mail you the lipstick. Much as I love it, hubby told me I looked old when I wore red lips and even though I think he's lying because he hates lipstick, he won this mindgame. I can't bring myself to put it on anymore. Sad face. But happy for you! Pick me!

    I rarely see giveaways for patterns that would actually fit me and most red lipsticks have too much orange in them to appeal to me but this looks like such an amazing colour.

    Oh, I've been dreaming of sewing a skirt like view A for the past two years! Might actually do it if I suddenly had the pattern. I alternate between red and black polish (hot pink intercedes every once in a while) and that grey would be a gorgeous change. Thanks for the awesome giveaway, Gertie and Denise!!!
