Oh, also! Have you seen my new Google Reader widget on my sidebar? It's on the righthand side under my blogroll, labeled "Gertie, Girl Reporter." I love this new widget so much it hurts. Every time I see something in my Google Reader that I think you guys might like, I just click "share" and it pops up there for you all to see! Isn't that genius? So if you're looking for some good reading, make sure to check it out. I update it every gosh darn day!
Until next time . . . happy sewing!
P.S. The above picture is my all-time favorite shot of Henry. (I actually have it screen printed on a t-shirt. Yes, you read that right.) Isn't it hilarious? I think it's very LOLcat worthy.
Hope you have a wonderful rest. Love the picture of Henry. My toddler loves it also, He started making meow sounds.
ReplyDeleteFeel better, gorgeous! Looking forward to keeping up with your new adventures when you're feeling better. :)
ReplyDeleteHope you feel better soon
ReplyDeleteAww! Feel better soon, Gertie!
ReplyDeletehoping you feel reinvigorated soon. I'm sure I'm not the only reader who is amazed at both the quality and regularity of your posts. Come back when you're ready xxx (ps if you ever need a cat sitter....)
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your rest. "See" you when you get back!

Get well soon. Your kitteh is darling. :D
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry to hear you're under the weather! Gertie, I love your blog. I've been carefully reading and watching the coat-focused efforts and I cannot tell you how much I appreciate your thoughtful, charming comments and examples. I may actually make a coat myself this year. Having watched you doing it step by step makes it seem so much less intimidating.

I love to hear that you have a screen printed shirt of this photo! I hope you get to feeling more "in tune" (yes, I'm a dorky musician) soon! Mini vacations are the best medicine for that. I await with baited breath your peter pan collar tutorial!
ReplyDeleteI hope you get better soon! Take care!
ReplyDeleteGet well soon! Meantime I get the opportunity to read older posts. Not too bad!
ReplyDeleteAw... So sorry you had a bad day! :( Crummy days + feeling like you're drowning under a pile of "to-do's" always stinks, imho. :p But, a break is always just the thing! Hope you enjoy your blogging break and come back rested and refreshed! :)

You deserve a break. You have been setting yourself such a pace these past months. I know I'd have long withered!
ReplyDeleteHope you feel better soon.
Get well soon! And the new widget action will *totally* make up for any delays. ;)
ReplyDeleteAww, feel better and enjoy your rest! I have a hard time keeping up with your wonderful posts -- I marvel at your output! No worries, we'll all be here when you return. :)
ReplyDeleteGet well soon!
ReplyDeleteNo doubt your mind is busy plotting all the cool stuff you wish you could be doing :)
Just a tip - peppermint tea always makes me feel better. (make it strong if you have congestion!)
Hope you're having a nice break! Like a few of my fellow commentors, I've been amazed at the quantity and quality of your posts! Taking a break from everything is sometimes the only way to go. I'm having a small vacation from life today - not seeing anyone and only doing things that are for me, like baking, sewing and then I plan to see my favorite english tv-detective =)
ReplyDeleteWish you feeling better soon!

Get better soon, dear Gertie! Yes you do deserve a break.
ReplyDeleteThat Google widget looks super useful. I wonder if they have something like that for WordPress!
Have a good rest. I just posted this listing in my shop and thought of you and some of your readers. A romper and skirt set that is very retro.

Ah zut !
ReplyDeleteWhere am I going to get my daily fix of vintage, geeky glamour, wit and to-die-for sewing while you're away?
But I'll be sure to check your widget - I already love your "Girl reporter" notes.
Enjoy your rest, relax and feel better soon.
He's so cute! I used to have a cat almost exactly like him. His eyes were very very green. I'm not sure if Henry's eyes are the exact same colour, but I do get teary everytime you post a picture of him.
