When I'm in San Diego the MAC counter is always out of this & it's time to stop digging the color out of the bottom of my old fave Vintage Red by Elizabeth Arden...! (RIP) Red lips wake me up & compliment my wardrobe - no pastels here. My latest upcoming project when I finish my current little jacket is an amazing vintage Vogue pattern no. 9825 w/ a cleverly draped cowl neckline, deep scoop back, fitted waist, full swishy skirt & a long fitted sleeve. I've chosen a sheer charcoal cotton (a little softer than organdy) to layer over indigo (or black - I haven't decided). Check it out on wiki.

It was the middle of the day and for someone who does not wear lipstick it was a bit of a shock but I ended up loving it!!! I felt powerful and sexy!
