I for one have never sewn or worn a dolman/kimono sleeve before, and figuring out all the issues of ease in the high bust is driving me batty.

I hope you will address the issue of FBA's and whether this style of pattern needs one (I did a 3" FBA and after seeing your muslin I'm not sure if I just went too far!) I'm going to hold off on doing anything more until we see your final muslin, or at least someone else with a larger cup size posts muslin pictures and joins the discussion on flickr. Thanks for the great pics, they really help!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09573666863042598314noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3259455441759015869.post-13631949802857944902012-09-28T11:31:23.395-04:002012-09-28T11:31:23.395-04:00Thanks so much for this post Gertie! I am wondering about the excess back fabric: In the photo that shows you holding your dog, it looks like you need every bit of fabric in the back and sleeves to do that. I am worried that if I do take in the back to make it more snug, it won't be possible to drive the car while wearing the coat.(?)Jen Ohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12371112170847037417noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3259455441759015869.post-34889987214412421082012-09-28T11:20:16.024-04:002012-09-28T11:20:16.024-04:00Gertie how did u pre shrink your fabric or did u s...Gertie how did u pre shrink your fabric or did u since it is a boiled wool?
